Meet the Interscholastic Polo Team
Carly Persono Carly is quickly following in both of her older sisters' footsteps, she is twelve years old and has been riding at Shallowbrook since age four! She too joined the intersholastic team in the summer of '06 but she stands strong in the number three position. Carly also is the supreme rider and helps train our horses as well as training her own horse, Deuce, to play polo. In the last show Carly competed in, she came out on top of the 3' jumpers division on her favorite little pony Micky.
Audry Persano 
Audry is thirteen years old and plays the number one position on this year's interscholastic team where she has been since the summer of '06. She has ridden at Shallowbrook for nine years, since she was only four years old! As the members of our team, Audry is the first-class rider and helps train horses in the hunter/jumper discipline as well as polo. In her last show appearance, she competed aboard a seasoned polo pony and still took home top honors in the hunter division!
Kristen Wenning 
Kristen is captain of this year's interscholastic team. She is currently in her second year on the team and plays in the number two position. She is sixteen years old and comes from a family with an equal love of horses and the sport of polo. Kristen is a stellar rider who also trains horses at the stable as well as competing state-wide in the show circuit. In June alone, Kristen came won the Children Equitation Division, as well as placing first in many other classes.
