Shallowbrook is home to Tony Vita, the International Arena 8 goal player. We have one of the most successful year-round indoor arena polo schools in the world. Our focus is on professional indoor polo with one of the largest Indoor Polo arenas around. We also have an outdoor tournament polo field.
Players come to ride under the instructive eye of Hal A. Vita Sr., Riding Master and Teacher of horsemanship and polo since 1960, international polo player, coach of the National Interscholastic Polo Championship teams in 1990, 91, 92, 95, 96 and 1997, and 3 times coach of the University of Connecticut National Intercollegiate Polo teams.
Our polo clinics cover every phase of polo with emphasis on riding and stick and ball technique, game tactics, and a special feature of video taping the scrimmages for intensive discussion and analyzing. Permanent stabling for 84 horses. Television and video training critique for the show rider and polo player. Sports, activities, and fun for the entire family!
