How fun for me to find this website! I grew up at Shallowbrook in the late 70’s early 80’s, riding primarily with Hal Vita, jr. and on the Junior Show team with Sally. I spent so many hours in the saddle, many more grooming, cleaning tack or just mucking around the barn – anything and everything that had to do with horses.
My enduring love for horses still continues and my 10 year old daughter, Emma, takes after her mom (for better or for worse) and is now riding at the beginner level.
For those who were around the barn in the era of “Pinoche” (my favorite pony!) you were a blessing in my life and I thank you for the skills that I learned while learning to ride with you. You’ve given me, not only many happy memories, but exceptional horsemanship skills, as well.
Hope you are all well, maybe we’ll come out to a show this summer, just as spectators for nostalgia’s sake.
wow! that show was so much fun! Roseh was fun to ride 2!
